5 years later and i recently discovered this was in a top 10 most expensive board games of all time list. They weren't lying 😅 but the moment I saw damage gets done to different body parts i was like WHAT!!!! Genius combat idea and in a few months i will collect everything much to my wallets protests

Hello. Excellent and helpful video, thanks! Can I ask what brand and what size is your coin pages you use for the gear cards? I measured the gear cards at 52mmx52mm and I cannot find any coin pages at around that size. They are either too small or too big. Thanks a lot

Perhaps the rule governing "Sudden Death" victory in my edition of the game is different than it is in yours, but it probably would have changed the outcome of your game. The rule, verbatim, is as follows: "If, at the end of a coach's turn, THEIR TEAM'S SCORE is 10 or more points behind the OPPOSING TEAM'S SCORE, the game immediately ends, and the opposing coach wins the game." Had the game been played by the rule as worded above, your son would have had a chance to close the 10-point scoring gap on his turn.

Such a good play through video! I love how well kept everything is. Definitely pushing me towards spending the 400 to get it. Cannot wait to watch the rest of the playthrough. My only complaint is that the audio is pan-reversed.

During the time your son was a toad the strength and craft gained before transformation are not affected only the strength and craft gained during the 3 toad rounds

Great video. I saw the dialogue between yourself and Bram on some rules. Still and all, I think of all the videos I’ve seen on this game, this gives me the best overall feel for how to play it. I’ve seen your other video on “misinterpreted rules” with this game. Between the two, that’s a a real good primer on this game.

You don’t get to wait and see your results before you to clear your next target. You look clear targets for all your hits then assign damage. Not oh I killed this wind let’s choose a new target

I appreciate the video, there are very few play throughs of Talisman. My only feedback is volume levels. They were extremely low and even my external tablet speaker difficulty make out. Perhaps you can fix this on your end to match other UA-cam videos more closely.

43:05 - I think the Hell Pistol can be used by the preacher because of the fine red print at the bottom of the card saying class limitations don’t matter.

Market is really important in this scenario. I play the scenario in the same way, luckily, I pick the Baza heros in the market (Waterwalker talent) and put a tile with water source well adjacent to the Reetall Tower definitely helps a lot! Thanks for sharing! 👌

By no means and expert on this game as there are many steps every turn, but Don’t forget that Harry Potter can assign a damage to any player when a token is removed from the location. Some other misses both good and bad to the players.

heyy, questions about the setup, why is it done like this? shouldnt the survivors be at 6 spaces away from the monster? and shouldnt the tall grass be 4 spaces away from each other?

I like many people were sad to see prattski disappear without warning. So for anyone wondering, I did a few searches. It appears that Mr. Pratt is now Second Lieutenant Pratt, so yeah he might be gone for a while. Things seem to be ok, can't speak to his personal life obviously, but from what I can tell, he's busy. Sure hope he returns though.

I played this game the other week on TTS... and wow how lucky we were only to come out with scrapes and bruises! I laughed as i never realised you could get a pair of lion balls as a resource :D I look forward to watching how this campaign pans out!
